Beaphar Timothy Hay 1 kg is a supplementary feed for rodents, a tasty and healthy hay for rabbits and rodents such as guinea pigs, chinchillas and degus. Timothy grass has a high crude fiber content, which is good for teeth and digestion. In addition, it has a favorable calcium-phosphorus ratio. Timothy hay therefore fits into a balanced diet.

Most types of hay are based on alfalfa and contain quite a lot of calcium. As for the composition, timothy hay is best suited for rabbits and rodents. Timothy hay has a high fiber content (32%) and a low calcium content (+/- 0.5%). This favorable calcium-phosphorus ratio prevents, among other things, bladder problems in guinea pigs and rabbits.
