The Easy Walk harness is designed to gently stop your dog from pulling on the leash. It's so simple - easy to set up, easy to use. The adjustment period is short and no special techniques are required.
Unlike traditional harnesses, the Easy Walk harness is not prone to coughing, gagging or choking because the chest strap sits low over the breastbone and not on the very sensitive area of the trachea.
Traditional harnesses even encourage dogs to pull harder due to the “opposition reflex.” This is the reflex that causes sled dogs to pull against pressure to move the sled.
The unique leash attachment on the front of the Easy Walk Harness stops the pull by directing the dog to the side and focusing his attention on you. The patent-pending chest loop with D-ring provides additional influence for easy, relaxed control and prevents the strap from twisting and sagging.
It is not recommended to use the Easy Walk harness with a retractable leash. With such a leash, the dog is “rewarded” with more room to run when he pulls. The goal is to teach the dog NOT to pull. Additionally, a retractable leash always applies light, constant pressure, which helps your dog learn that it's good to keep pulling.
The harness comes with a 1.8 meter long leash.
