The composition of Puur Glucosamine Extra is different for dogs/cats than for horses/ponies. The composition for the horse includes ginger. Horses accept this well. Unfortunately, dogs don't accept ginger well, so this was not taken into account. Boswelia is included in dog food.

1 - 2 times daily (1 measuring spoon contains approx. 4 grams)

In practice, if it is difficult to administer this product several times a day, once a day or every 2 days is sufficient.

Then give the maximum dose of one day. Even then, this product may be used effectively, but it may not respond for long. When your pet can walk well again, you can reduce the dose to half the recommended dose.

Administration
Can be administered with food. Moisten the powder so it doesn't blow out of the bowl.

To keep your joints supple, you should pay particular attention to movement. Even exercise is very important, think walking, cycling and swimming. Extreme stress should be avoided, as should abrupt movements and jumps. Excess weight also puts additional strain on the joints, ligaments and tendons. Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary between a few days and 3 weeks. If improvement occurs, continue administration of this product for several days.

For long-term symptoms, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. In case of improvement, a maintenance dose can be changed to a maintenance dose. This usually corresponds to half the dosage stated on the packaging. When administering this product, pay attention to the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be required initially, this product can be safely administered in double dosage. Reduce the dose gradually to the lowest possible dose.

This product can be administered continuously. It is advisable to add a storage week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This way the “stimulus” can be offered again after the stop week. If necessary, resume treatment immediately.
