Our ingredients

To make our feed, 10.6kg of meat is dried for a 12kg bag so that it can be better processed into our pellet. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, making it very beneficial for your health.

Vegetables

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, seaweed, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its beneficial properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Boxer-specific vegetables, herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed-specific characteristics of the Boxer. We also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Boxer belongs. From these studies, ingredients that are optimal for the boxer's health and well-being were selected in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists.

chamomile

Chamomile is a genus from the Asteraceae family. Chamomile is widely grown in Hungary and Eastern Europe. It also grows wild throughout Europe. The name chamomile comes from Greek and means "grated apple" and refers to the apple scent. Chamomile enjoys an excellent reputation in natural medicine.

We can add chamomile to Yourdog because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems relating to the stomach, intestines, skin, rheumatism, nerves, inflammation and urinary tract.

Chamomile can have a slightly calming effect on dogs and can therefore be used on dogs that are often stressed. It can also have a positive effect on dogs with nerve digestion. It can have a decongestant and antiseptic effect.

Celery is a plant from the umbelliferous family. The plant is often found on the coast in moist soil.

Celery is rich in vitamins A, C and K, but also contains a lot of folic acid and potassium. In addition, celery is fat-free, high in fiber and very low in calories.

We add celery to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to supporting the dog's immune and digestive systems. It can also have a positive impact on skin and coat, the function of muscles and nerves through vitamin A and the maintenance of strong bones through vitamin K.

blueberries

Blueberries belong to the heather family and grow mainly in the open forests of the Northern Hemisphere.

The plant has long been used in traditional European medicine and is said to have positive effects on gastrointestinal diseases and diabetes.

Blueberries can be added to our dog food as they are rich in antioxidants that protect the body from free radicals. They also contain good fiber for digestion and are rich in vitamins C and K. It can support the immune system and contribute to the dog's overall health.

Puppy, adult or senior?

So that you can make the right choice between our Boxer food types, please note the following information. If your Boxer is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy option. For a Boxer older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Boxer senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult version.

Advice on switching

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend you follow the steps below. As a first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% old dog food. The dog can get used to it for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old food. It is important to re-acclimate the dog over two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% old dog food. The dog is now almost completely in Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. Afterwards, you can 100% Yourdog the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food into the tub individually, but to put it in the tub in the entire bag, closing it as tightly as possible.
