Our ingredients

To make our feed, 10.6kg of meat is dried for a 12kg bag so that it can be better processed into our pellet. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, making it very beneficial for your health.

poultry

At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

In order to provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables were added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious but also have other healthy properties. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provides the dog with all the important natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, seaweed, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its beneficial properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Chien français tricolore specific vegetables, herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Chien français tricolore. We also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Chien français tricolore belongs. From these studies, ingredients that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Chien français tricolore were selected in consultation with a leading Dutch nutritionist.

Glucosamine

Glucosamine is a substance produced naturally in the body and is found in joints, cartilage, synovial fluid and tendons. Glucosamine stimulates cartilage production and keeps joints supple.

Glucosamine is one of the most commonly used supplements for dogs with osteoarthritis and/or joint problems. This is not only the case with older or (too) heavy dogs, but increasingly also with younger, very agile dogs. For example, due to an inherited predisposition to joint problems. For these and other reasons, glucosamine is added to our dog food.

Plums

The plum is a tree fruit from the rose family and belongs to the stone fruit category. Plum trees are known for their beautiful blooms in spring, and the sweet-smelling fruits have been eaten since Roman times.

Plums contain many healthy nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Plums are rich in vitamins A, B6, B12, C and D as well as the minerals potassium, magnesium and iron. Plums are also low in calories and are known for their laxative effects.

Apple

The apple tree is a tree of the genus Malus from which the hand apples, which are particularly well known in the northern hemisphere, grow. The apple grows in temperate regions.

Fiber has a diverse effect on the digestive tract. They are able to absorb moisture, making the stool soft and supple. Fiber also increases volume in the intestines. This not only stimulates intestinal activity, but also ensures thorough elimination of waste products.

Apples are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber. In addition, apples are rich in pectin. Pectin is a soluble fiber that helps support healthy intestinal flora. It also contributes to the palatability of the food and apples are low in calories.

Rich in vitamins A and C. Vitamin A is good for skin and coat and strengthens the immune system. Vitamin C ensures the development of muscles and bones at a young age.
