Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag so that it can be processed better in our dry food. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, making it very beneficial for your health.

poultry

At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

In order to provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables were added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious but also have other healthy properties. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provides the dog with all the important natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, seaweed, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its beneficial properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Dalmatian-specific vegetables, herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed-specific characteristics of the Dalmatian. We also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Dalmatian belongs. From these studies, ingredients that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Dalmatian were selected in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists.

cranberry

The cranberry is a plant from the heather family. In the Netherlands, the plant is mainly found on the Wadden Islands and is very rare in the rest of the country. The plant originally comes from North America and is said to have come to the Netherlands around 1845.

Cranberries contain a unique blend of nutrients that can give dogs a powerful health boost. The berries are rich in minerals such as potassium, which ensures a healthy fluid balance in the body. These berries are also rich in vitamins A, B and C, as well as antioxidants to support the immune system. Vitamin C makes urine more acidic, making the environment in the bladder less attractive for bacteria. The addition of cranberries can also have pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. The healthy fiber in cranberries has a positive effect on digestion and ensures that the dog stays full for longer.

Cranberry is added to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems relating to digestion, skin, joints, bones and nerve functions, among other things.

carrot

The carrot as we know it today, or the orange carrot, is the result of many years of crossbreeding.

The first white carrots come from Iran and were brought to the Netherlands by the Dutch East India Company in the 17th century.

Carrots are an important source of vitamins and fiber. Carrots, for example, contain retinol (vitamin A1) and beta-carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in the body. This is important for the structure of capillaries and the health of all cells. The fibers of the carrot support the dog's digestion. In addition, carrots are low in calories and good for coat and skin.

At Yourdog, we add carrots to dog food because they can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems with the dog's coat and skin. It also promotes good eyesight and healthy digestion.

Raspberries

The raspberry is a plant from the rose family and belongs to the Rubus genus.

The cultivation of raspberries dates back to the Middle Ages and is naturally widespread throughout Europe.

Raspberries contain many substances that can support the dog's health, e.g. B. Vitamins such as vitamin C, minerals such as manganese and antioxidants. Raspberries are also low in sugar and calories and rich in good fiber.
