To produce our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag so that it can be processed better in our company. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, making it very beneficial for your health.
poultry
At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.
Vegetables
In order to provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables were added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious but also have other healthy properties. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.
Fruit
We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provides the dog with all the important natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.
Herbs
The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, seaweed, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its beneficial properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

basil
Basil is a genus from the mint family. The name comes from ancient Greek, where Œbasileus means king, which is why the alternative name is royal herb. It is native to the region between Central Africa and Southeast Asia.
In traditional medicine, basil has been used to treat arthritis, bronchitis, colds, stomach ulcers, heart disease, and stomach pain, among other things. Research has shown that basil has powerful antioxidant, antiviral and antimicrobial properties. In addition, basil can promote digestion, support the excretion of waste products and have an antispasmodic and calming effect on the dog.
thyme
Thyme is a genus from the mint family. These include herbaceous or woody plants with a very aromatic smell. Thyme was used by the Greeks and Romans as a medicinal plant against lung diseases, rheumatism, paralysis, stomach cramps, ulcers, headaches, colic and nervous weakness.
The medicinal properties of thyme are confirmed by its high vitamin K content. In addition, thyme contains a lot of iron as well as the minerals calcium and manganese. It also contains the amino acid tryptophan and a significant amount of fiber.
Thyme has an anti-inflammatory effect and has strong antibacterial and antifungal effects. In addition, it stimulates the production of white blood cells and strengthens the immune system. Thyme is rich in antioxidants and effectively fights free radicals.
We at Yourdog add thyme to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems relating to rheumatism, paralysis, stomach and nerves. Thyme is also a natural bactericide.
cranberry
The cranberry is a plant from the heather family. In the Netherlands, the plant is mainly found on the Wadden Islands and is very rare in the rest of the country. The plant originally comes from North America and is said to have come to the Netherlands around 1845.
Cranberries contain a unique blend of nutrients that can give dogs a powerful health boost. The berries are rich in minerals such as potassium, which ensures a healthy fluid balance in the body. These berries are also rich in vitamins A, B and C, as well as antioxidants to support the immune system. Vitamin C makes urine more acidic, making the environment in the bladder less attractive for bacteria. The addition of cranberries can also have pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. The healthy fiber in cranberries has a positive effect on digestion and ensures you feel fuller for longer.
Cranberry is added to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems related to, among other things, digestion, skin, joints, bones and nerve functions.
