To make our food, we dry 10.6 kg of meat for a 12 kg bag so that it can be processed better in our dry food. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories and is therefore very beneficial for health.
poultry
At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.
Vegetables
In order to provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables were added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious but also have other healthy properties. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.
Fruit
We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provides your dog with all the important, natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.
Herbs
The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, seaweed, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its beneficial properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.
Labradoodle-specific vegetables, herbs, and fruits
We have carefully researched the breed-specific characteristics of the Labradoodle. We also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Labradoodle belongs. From these studies, ingredients that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Labradoodle were selected in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists.
Dog Rose
The dog rose grows naturally in Europe and can reach a height of up to four meters. The flowering period of the rose is in June and July, the flowers are usually light pink or sometimes white.
The plant contains a lot of vitamin C and is also rich in vitamins A and B, various minerals and antioxidants. For Yourdog we add dog rose because it can support the immune system and prevent infections.
Nettle
The stinging nettle is a genus of plants, of which the large nettle and the small nettle occur in the Netherlands and Belgium. Nettle is known for its cleansing and blood-purifying effects. According to various sources, nettle kills bacteria and is therefore very suitable for infectious diseases. The leaves are also useful for diarrhea or other digestive disorders.
The nettle supports the function of the liver and kidneys by stimulating the breakdown of waste products. It also supports the dog's bladder and hair growth.
The nettle also contains silicic acid, i.e. silicon. It is a building material that is, among other things, part of the connective tissue of bones, tendons, ligaments, skin, hair and nails. Silicon supports the natural production of skin (cells) and ensures the maintenance of healthy skin.
At Yourdog, we add nettle to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems with the dog's coat, skin and bones, as well as to preventing digestive and/or bladder problems.
tomato
The tomato belongs to the nightshade family and comes from the tomato plant, which originally comes from Mesoamerica. Smaller varieties were cultivated in Mesoamerica by the Aztecs and the Mayans. In 1893, America decided to consider the fruit a vegetable.
At Yourdog we use tomatoes on a culinary level and treat them like vegetables.
Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories and high in soluble fiber, which aids digestion. Tomatoes also contain lycopene, which gives them their red color. The redder a tomato is, the more lycopene it contains. Not only does it give the tomato its red color, but it is also known to be a powerful antioxidant. Research has shown that lycopene can, among other things, protect against cancer and help with cardiovascular diseases. In addition, tomato contains high levels of vitamin C as well as vitamin A and B complexes, which can contribute to healthy skin and an improved immune system.
Tomato is added to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems relating to digestion, skin, vision and cardiovascular diseases. In addition, it can have a general cleansing effect on the body.
