Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag so that it can be processed better in our dry food. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, making it very beneficial for your health.

poultry

At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

In order to provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables were added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious but also have other healthy properties. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provides the dog with all the important natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, seaweed, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its beneficial properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Pharaoh Hound specific vegetables, herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Pharaoh Hound. We also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Pharaoh Hound belongs. Based on these studies and in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients were selected that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Pharaoh Hound.

Licorice root

The licorice root is derived from the Greek word glyks meaning "sweet" and rhiza meaning "root" and is also called Glycyrrhiza glabra. The origin of the plant lies in Eurasia, North Africa and Western Asia. Since ancient times, licorice root has been credited with medicinal properties and is often used to make herbal teas.

Liquorice root is said to have a soothing, anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect on the mucous membranes. The cranberry is a plant from the heather family and can help repair the stomach lining and is said to be good for a sensitive gastrointestinal tract.

cranberry

The cranberry is a plant from the heather family. In the Netherlands, the plant is mainly found on the Wadden Islands and is very rare in the rest of the country. The plant originally comes from North America and is said to have come to the Netherlands around 1845.

Cranberries contain a unique blend of nutrients that can give dogs a powerful health boost. The berries are rich in minerals such as potassium, which ensures a healthy fluid balance in the body. These berries are also rich in vitamins A, B and C, as well as antioxidants to support the immune system. Vitamin C makes urine more acidic, making the environment in the bladder less attractive for bacteria. The addition of cranberries can also have pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. The healthy fiber in cranberries has a positive effect on digestion and ensures you feel fuller for longer.

Cranberry is added to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems relating to digestion, skin, joints, bones and nerve functions, among other things.

Mango Die

Mango belongs to the genus Mangifera and is probably native to Northeast India and Southeast Asia.

It is a drupe with different shapes and grows on a tree that can grow up to 40 meters high.

This delicious summer treat is packed with important vitamins and minerals. It contains vitamins A, B6, C and E and is rich in potassium, beta-carotene and alpha-carotene. Mango also contains a lot of healthy fiber, which helps strengthen the immune system and digestive organs. The natural antioxidant (vitamin C) helps support vital body functions. Vitamin A is rich in beta-carotene, which can help maintain and improve vision.

We add mango to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to supporting the dog's resistance and healthy digestion. The mango can also support the dog's eyesight.
