Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag so that it can be processed better in our dry food. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, making it very beneficial for your health.

poultry

At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

In order to provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables were added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious but also have other healthy properties. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provides the dog with all the important natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, seaweed, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its beneficial properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Irish Wolfhound-specific vegetables, herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Irish Wolfhound. We also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Irish Wolfhound belongs. From these studies, ingredients that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Irish Wolfhound were selected in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists.

Parsley

Parsley is a biennial, hardy herbaceous plant from the umbelliferous family. Parsley has been used as a medicinal herb for hundreds of years. There are dozens of diseases that parsley fights. According to various sources, it cures diarrhea, anemia and ear infections, among other things. It contains more iron than e.g. E.g. spinach. Parsley also contains other minerals such as silicon as well as vitamins B and C and carotene.

At Yourdog, we add parsley to dog food because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems relating to the blood, heart and kidneys.

Parsley is a natural source of vitamins C, A and K. This can affect the immune system and eyes, but also the cardiovascular system and liver. Parsley also has anti-inflammatory properties and can have a diuretic effect, keeping the dog's bladder free of contaminants.

Marigold

The marigold (Calendula) is a plant that, like the goldenrod, belongs to the daisy family. Marigold is a cultivated flower that has long been used for its various medicinal properties. The original Calendula species was probably native to Asia and Eastern Europe, but this field marigold is rarely found in the wild anymore. Marigold is also an edible plant for humans and is rich in nutrients.

There is a lot of information about the positive effects of marigold. We can add calendula to dog food because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems relating to the skin, mouth, throat, digestion, eyes and feet. It is particularly good for the restoration of the skin and mucous membranes, it has an anti-inflammatory and regenerating effect. It can also prevent cramps during the digestive process.

Marigold is mainly used as an external care product, including for abrasions or skin problems. However, due to its regenerating properties, it can also be used internally.

celery

Celery is a plant from the umbelliferous family. The plant is often found on the coast in moist soil.

Celery is rich in vitamins A, C and K, but also contains a lot of folic acid and potassium. In addition, celery is fat-free, high in fiber and very low in calories.

We add celery to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to supporting the dog's immune and digestive systems. It can also have a positive impact on skin and coat, the function of muscles and nerves through vitamin A, and the maintenance of strong bones through vitamin K.
