Why Yourdog Skye Terrier

Rich in buffalo and poultry Specially made for the Skye Terrier Contains apple, tomato and cranberry Promotes a healthy, shiny coat Maintains healthy intestinal flora Free from artificial colors, flavors and fragrances Also suitable for sensitive Skye Terriers

Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag so that it can be processed better in our dry food. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, making it very beneficial for your health.

poultry

At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

In order to provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables were added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious but also have other healthy properties. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provides the dog with all the important natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, seaweed, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its beneficial properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Skye Terrier-specific vegetables, herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed-specific characteristics of the Skye Terrier. We also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Skye Terrier belongs. Based on these studies and in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients have been selected that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Skye Terrier.

Apple

The apple tree is a tree of the genus Malus, from which the hand apples, which are particularly known in the northern hemisphere, come. The apple grows in temperate regions.

Fiber has a diverse effect on the digestive tract. They are able to absorb moisture, making the stool soft and supple. Fiber also increases volume in the intestines. This not only stimulates intestinal activity, but also ensures thorough elimination of waste products.

Apples are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber. In addition, apples are rich in pectin. Pectin is a soluble fiber that helps support healthy intestinal flora. It also contributes to the palatability of the food and apples are low in calories.

Rich in vitamins A and C. Vitamin A is good for skin and coat and strengthens the immune system. Vitamin C ensures the development of muscles and bones in the first years of life.

tomato

The tomato belongs to the nightshade family and comes from the tomato plant, which originally comes from Mesoamerica. Smaller varieties were cultivated in Mesoamerica by the Aztecs and Mayans. In 1893, America decided to consider the fruit a vegetable.

At Yourdog we use tomatoes on a culinary level and treat them like vegetables.

Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories and high in soluble fiber, which aids digestion. Tomatoes also contain lycopene, which gives them their red color. The redder a tomato is, the more lycopene it contains. Not only does it give the tomato its red color, but it is also known to be a powerful antioxidant. Research has shown that lycopene can, among other things, protect against cancer and help with cardiovascular diseases. In addition, tomato contains high levels of vitamin C as well as vitamin A and B complexes, which can contribute to healthy skin and an improved immune system.

Tomato is added to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems relating to digestion, skin, vision and cardiovascular diseases. In addition, it can have a general cleansing effect on the body.

cranberry

The cranberry is a plant from the heather family. In the Netherlands, the plant is mainly found on the Wadden Islands and is very rare in the rest of the country. The plant originally comes from North America and is said to have come to the Netherlands around 1845.

Cranberries contain a unique blend of nutrients that can give dogs a powerful health boost. The berries are rich in minerals such as potassium, which ensures a healthy fluid balance in the body. These berries are also rich in vitamins A, B and C, as well as antioxidants to support the immune system. Vitamin C makes urine more acidic, making the environment in the bladder less attractive for bacteria. The addition of cranberries can also have pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. The healthy fiber in cranberries has a positive effect on digestion and ensures you feel fuller for longer.

Cranberry is added to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems relating to digestion, skin, joints, bones and nerve functions, among other things.
