Why Yourdog Tibetan Mastiff

Rich in buffalo and poultry Made specifically for the Tibetan Mastiff Contains peppermint, spirulina and glucosamine Promotes a healthy, shiny coat Maintains healthy intestinal flora Free from artificial colors, flavors and fragrances Also suitable for the sensitive Tibetan Mastiff

Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag so that it can be processed better in our dry food. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, making it very beneficial for your health.

poultry

At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

In order to provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables were added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious but also have other healthy properties. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provides the dog with all the important natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, seaweed, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its beneficial properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Tibetan mastiff specific vegetables, herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Tibetan Mastiff. We also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Tibetan Mastiff belongs. From these studies, ingredients that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Tibetan Mastiff were selected in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists.

peppermint

Peppermint is a plant from the mint family. It is the plant that led to the production of peppermint. Peppermint was created from a cross between water mint and spearmint. The plant was found in a field of mint plants in England in the seventeenth century. The plant is grown in England, France, China, Japan and North and South America.

We can add peppermint to dog food because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific intestinal and gallbladder problems. The properties of the peppermint plant also include preventing itching.

Peppermint can promote fresh breath. The mint contained in peppermint can have an antispasmodic effect on the intestines and promotes the flow of bile in the intestines. In addition, it can have an antiseptic effect.

Peppermint is rich in vitamins A and C and minerals such as calcium, copper, iron, magnesium and phosphorus.

Spirulina

Spirulina is a dietary supplement with exceptionally high nutritional value, obtained from blue-green algae found in tropical and subtropical regions. It belongs to the microalgae family. Did you know that spirulina can be grown in space and contains 60-70% protein?

It is rich in vitamins including B12, minerals such as calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium and potassium, and all essential amino acids. Spirulina can contribute to the health and well-being of dogs in general. Additionally, it can help support the immune system and promote healthy skin and a shiny coat. The algae also has a detoxifying effect and promotes digestion.

Glucosamine

Glucosamine is a substance produced naturally in the body and is found in joints, cartilage, synovial fluid and tendons. Glucosamine stimulates cartilage production and keeps joints supple.

Glucosamine is one of the most commonly used supplements for dogs with osteoarthritis and/or joint problems. This is not only the case with older or (too) heavy dogs, but increasingly also with younger, very agile dogs. For example, due to an inherited predisposition to joint problems. For these and other reasons, glucosamine is added to our dog food.

Puppy, adult or senior?

So that you can make the right choice between the different types of Tibetan Mastiff dog food, you should pay attention to the following information. If your Tibetan Mastiff is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy option. For a Tibetan Mastiff older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog Tibetan mastiff senior. Advice on switching

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend you follow the steps below. As a first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% old dog food. The dog can get used to it for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old food. It is important to re-acclimate the dog over two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% old dog food. The dog is now almost completely in Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. Afterwards you can 100% Yourdog the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place.
