Our ingredients

To make our feed, 10.6kg of meat is dried for a 12kg bag so that it can be better processed into our pellet. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, making it very beneficial for your health.

poultry

At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

In order to provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables were added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious but also have other healthy properties. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provides the dog with all the important natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, seaweed, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its beneficial properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Tyrolean fern specific vegetables, herbs and fruit

We have carefully researched the breed-specific characteristics of the Tyrolean Bracken. We also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Tyrolean Bracke belongs. From these studies, ingredients that are optimal for the health and well-being of Tyrolean brawn were selected in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists.

basil

Basil is a genus from the mint family. The name comes from ancient Greek, where Œbasileus means king, which is why the alternative name is royal herb. It is native to the region between Central Africa and Southeast Asia.

In traditional medicine, basil has been used to treat arthritis, bronchitis, colds, stomach ulcers, heart disease, and stomach pain, among other things. Research has shown that basil has powerful antioxidant, antiviral and antimicrobial properties. In addition, basil can promote digestion, support the excretion of waste products and have an antispasmodic and calming effect on the dog.

fennel

Fennel is a plant from the umbelliferous family and can be recognized by its aniseed taste. The threadlike branches of the leaves are often used as an herb and the seeds as a spice. These seeds have been known for their medicinal properties for centuries.

Like many herbs and seeds, fennel is rich in various vitamins and minerals. It contains many vitamins A and C as well as the minerals iron and potassium.

We can add fennel to dog food because it can promote digestion and prevent flatulence in the stomach and intestines. It can contribute to a healthy cardiovascular system and have a positive effect on joint problems. Fennel is also said to freshen breath.

tomato

The tomato belongs to the nightshade family and comes from the tomato plant, which originally comes from Mesoamerica. Smaller varieties were cultivated in Mesoamerica by the Aztecs and Mayans. In 1893, America decided to consider the fruit a vegetable.

At Yourdog we use tomatoes on a culinary level and treat them like vegetables.

Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories and high in soluble fiber, which aids digestion. Tomatoes also contain lycopene, which gives them their red color. The redder a tomato is, the more lycopene it contains. Not only does it give the tomato its red color, but it is also known to be a powerful antioxidant. Research has shown that lycopene can, among other things, protect against cancer and help with cardiovascular diseases. In addition, tomato contains high levels of vitamin C as well as vitamin A and B complexes, which can contribute to healthy skin and an improved immune system.

Tomato is added to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems relating to digestion, skin, vision and cardiovascular diseases. In addition, it can have a general cleansing effect on the body.
