Why Yourdog Weimaraner

Rich in buffalo and poultry Made specifically for the Weimaraner Contains glucosamine, chondroitin and blueberries Promotes a healthy, shiny coat Maintains healthy intestinal flora Free from artificial colors, flavors and fragrances Also suitable for sensitive Weimaraner breeds.

Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6kg of meat is dried in a 12kg bag so that it can be better processed in our kibble. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, making it very beneficial for your health.

poultry

At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

In order to provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super healthy vegetables were added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious but also have other healthy properties. The crude fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provides the dog with all the important natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, seaweed, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its beneficial properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated through the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Weimaraner-specific vegetables, herbs and fruit

We have carefully researched the breed-specific characteristics of the Weimaraner. We also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Weimaraner belongs. From these studies, ingredients that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Weimaraner were selected in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists.

Glucosamine

Glucosamine is a substance produced naturally in the body and is found in joints, cartilage, synovial fluid and tendons. Glucosamine stimulates cartilage production and keeps joints supple.

Glucosamine is one of the most commonly used supplements for dogs with osteoarthritis and/or joint problems. This is not only the case with older or (too) heavy dogs, but increasingly also with younger, very agile dogs. For example, due to an inherited predisposition to joint problems. For these and other reasons, glucosamine is added to our dog food.

Chondroitin

Chondroitin occurs naturally in the dog's body and is one of the most important components of cartilage tissue. In dogs, chondroitin is able to attract and bind moisture, which should result in a spongy suspension of the cartilage.

Chondroitin improves the suppleness of cartilage and also has pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. It also stimulates the production of the building blocks that ensure healthy cartilage.

When chondroitin is administered in combination with glucosamine, it supports and enhances the effects of glucosamine. It is often given as a dietary supplement for people and animals suffering from osteoarthritis.

Blueberry

Blueberries belong to the heather family and grow mainly in the open forests of the Northern Hemisphere. The plant has long been used in traditional European medicine and is said to have positive effects on gastrointestinal diseases and diabetes.

Blueberries can be added to our dog food as they are rich in antioxidants that protect the body from free radicals. They also contain good fiber for digestion and are rich in vitamins C and K. It can support the immune system and contribute to the dog's overall health.
